Christopher T. Blisard

With more than 20 years of operational, business development, and leadership experience, Christopher T. Blisard has led Circadence as COO since 1999 and has been instrumental in its success since the founding of the company. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the corporation, Mr. Blisard has been a fundamental force in creating major OEM, partnership, and cooperative technology agreements with corporations such as Hewlett-Packard, NET, Accenture, Dell, , Microsoft, Deutsche Telekom, , , and many other influential technology leaders in the industry.
Mr. Blisard’s leadership is vital to the development and maintenance of significant business relationships within the defense and security industry, including the U.S. Department of Defense, all four major military branches, Northrop Grumman, L3, and other intelligence and defense organizations. His focus on expanding Circadence’s commercial market presence by building distribution, VAR, and direct sales organizations, as well as developing marketing and channel support tools has led to , the company to 17 consecutive quarters of profitability. Mr. Blisard continues to drive the implementation of further expansive OEM and direct sales opportunities to position Circadence within emerging, high-growth markets.
Previously, Mr. Blisard provided leadership in other successful enterprises, including: VR•1, Inc., one of the most successful massively multiplayer online gaming companies in the world; Online Network Enterprises (ONE); SolarTech Enterprises LLC, a designer and developer of patented chemical ultraviolet sensors and recipient of two National Cancer Institute research grants; Armor Holdings, Inc., a top supplier of human safety and survival systems to all branches of the U.S. military and major aerospace and defense prime contractors; and GCCTechnologies, an innovator in combining reliable hardware and revolutionary software to produce high-performance computer peripherals.
To monitor and track trends and developments within the defense and security industry, Mr. Blisard is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). Mr. Blisard previously served on the board of directors for the Mile High Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association.
Mr. Blisard received his degree in finance at Nichols College and attended the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School. He has founded a number of successful companies, including Virtual Armor, located in Littleton, Colorado, and serves as board member to a number of other corporations.
An avid golfer and skier, Mr. Blisard participates in a variety of outdoor activities with his wife and three children. The family is also heavily involved in local nonprofit organizations and fundraising events for causes ranging from cancer research to outreach and support for the homeless.
