R. Bradley Prewitt

VP of Government Relations and Mississippi Operations

R. Bradley Prewitt is Vice President of Government Relations and Mississippi Operations for Circadence. With 18 years of experience as a self-employed attorney, business consultant, government relations specialist, and entrepreneur based in Tupelo, Mississippi, Mr. Prewitt was chief locator and site leader for the Circadence Product Development and Advanced R&D Center that opened in 2005 in Tupelo. He continues to lead team members within this core corporate asset.

Beyond Circadence, Mr. Prewitt pursues entrepreneurial activities in a number of sectors, including real estate investments and developments, and the development of private businesses, such as the innovative Mobilis System furniture brand. He continues to assist diverse clients such as businesses, sovereign nations, politicians and non-profits on legal and public affairs strategies through Prewitt Group Law Firm, PLLC, also based in Tupelo.

Prior to his work at Circadence, Mr. Prewitt served for five years as counsel and campaign manager for U.S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS). During his tenure, Mr. Prewitt served the Senator as a strategic leader for projects involving Mississippi-based universities, communities, health care institutions, companies, and research and development enterprises. As economic development liaison for the senator, Mr. Prewitt’s efforts helped bring business and jobs to Mississippi, such as the EADS American Eurocopter plant. Mr. Prewitt also managed judicial nominations, impeachment, health care fraud and abuse, Medicare reimbursement disputes, and campaign finance reform, among other issues as staff attorney. Appointed campaign manager in 2002, Mr. Prewitt helped guide the senator to a landslide fifth-term victory with over 85 percent of the vote. During Mr. Prewitt’s tenure on the Hill, he was selected as Fellow to the European Union and an Abraham Lincoln Scholar in Constitutional Law at the Claremont Institute. Prior to going to the Hill, Mr. Prewitt served for five years in Pascagoula, Mississippi-based civil litigation defense firm Brown, Watt and Buchanan, where he served a number of corporate and institutional clients and during which he served in numerous volunteer and honorary capacities.

Mr. Prewitt received his undergraduate training at Delta State University and attended the University Of Mississippi School Of Law. He currently serves as an executive board member of the Tupelo Symphony Orchestra, a board member of Regional Rehabilitation, a board member of the Lee County Cattleman’s Association, and an assistant scoutmaster with Troop 220. Beyond spending time with his family, Mr. Prewitt manages his 175 year-old cattle farm and enjoys writing.
