Circadence Corporation Named Finalist in CoBiz Magazine's Top Company Awards
BOULDER, CO., August 12, 2009 - Circadence Corporation announced today that it was named a finalist in the ColoradoBiz Magazine Top Company Awards. The primary criteria for Top Company awards are sustained financial excellence, community involvement, and operational excellence in one or more functional areas of the business. Finalists and winners are recognized in eleven industry categories including Energy & Natural Resources, Financial Services and Technology/Media/Telecommunications, among others.
"The roster of Top Company awards finalists in this, our 22nd year, again reflects the quality of businesses operating at the forefront of our economy in Colorado. Even in what has become an historic economic downturn, businesses are finding a way to sustain profits through operational excellence, innovation, and hard work," said Bart Taylor, Publisher of ColoradoBiz Magazine.
Circadence's CEO Michael Moniz believes the Company's success is based on strong management and talented employees. "We are excited and delighted to have been nominated for this prestigious award," said Moniz. "This is a result of dedicated hard work of everyone at Circadence and our long standing commitments to innovation and our communities."
The award is sponsored by UMB, who has been involved for 10 consecutive years, and Deloitte. Deloitte is responsible for administering the awards program by reviewing all nominations and selecting three finalists from each category. A panel of judges made up of business and civic leaders is convened to vote on winners in each category. Judging will take place in mid-August with winners announced at an awards luncheon on September 15.
Taylor finishes, "In such difficult times, it's even more important to recognize the great work being done by business in our communities. This is at the core of the Top Company mission: recognizing the contributions of the people and firms making an impact in our communities through their success."
