Circadence Corporation Acquires Extensive Network Intelligence Intellectual Property Portfolio
IP Acquisition Includes Several Intelligent Network Analysis and Routing Patents
BOULDER, CO., July 16, 2009 - Circadence Corporation announced today that it has acquired the intellectual property portfolio of Iptivia, Inc., including U.S. Patent No. 7,450,495, "Method and System for Path Change Root-Cause Identification in Packet Networks," issued on November 11, 2008. Under the terms of the agreement, Circadence will acquire all of Iptivia's intellectual property, including its extensive patent portfolio, and will have full discretion and responsibility for exploiting the technology for its growing customer base or generating royalty revenues through a licensing program for the intellectual property and technology rights in the portfolio.

This patented technology generally relates to intelligent network analysis and routing. In addition to the '495 patent, the portfolio contains, among other assets, US Patent No. 7,330,435, US Patent No. 7,257,081 and US Patent No. 6,836,465, as well as several pending applications, continuations in part and foreign applications.
